Governance and policy framework
The Oceania Impact Network is building a comprehensive policy framework that reflects our commitment to transparency and excellence in the Pacific sporting ecosystem. Our policies are currently being developed with rigorous attention to detail, ensuring they will provide clear guidance and support for all stakeholders.
We are crafting governance documents that will address critical areas including safeguarding, gender equality, leadership development, and ethical standards. These policies will serve as a blueprint for creating safe, inclusive, and empowering sporting environments across the Pacific region.
Our approach is collaborative and consultative, drawing on expertise from UN Women, Team Up, the International Olympic Committee, and Oceania National Olympic Committees. Each policy will be designed to meet the highest international standards while remaining sensitive to local Pacific contexts and cultural nuances.
In the coming months, we will progressively release our policy documents, which will be accessible through this platform. These will include comprehensive guidelines on organizational governance, athlete protection, gender equity, and systemic change strategies.
Stay tuned for updates as we continue to develop robust, meaningful policies that will transform the sporting landscape in Oceania.
